There are California gray whales there this time of year, thousands of them every winter, migrating to their breeding and birthing grounds.

At this special lagoon, the whales are also watching the people who are watching them. If they like you, they may even let you touch them and allow you to play with their new born calf's. Living Off-Grid you depend on natural resources and growing your own food is part of one of those resources and in the desert where there is Off-Grid living, we need to utilize the most out of water, and what about seawater? THAT'S TODAY'S BIG QUESTION How and can we use Seawater as a source for our plant growth or even drinking water. Is there an economical way through reverse osmosis or desalinization - notice the word economical that's the key word here for the day - we need to figure out a way to make it affordable for everybody. So if you have any ideas let me know, all input is greatly appreciated and I am constantly searching for an economical way

Read more: How much of the Earth is covered by deserts? | Answerbag http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/1868790#ixzz2D4myDjKe
